When we look for information about the old Irish harp tradition, we usually rely on descriptions written down by outsiders: descriptions of what the harpers were doing, as observed by people who did not play the old Irish harp. This session looks at ‘insider’ accounts of aspects of the tradition, from the harpers themselves.
