In this session we will start with the idea of a tune list, gathering references to titles of tunes we know were played by the old harpers. Can we find versions of these tunes that have been alive in the carrying stream of Irish traditional music ever since? We will listen to a few examples, and we will discuss ways in which these traditional performances might, and might not, relate to harp performance versions.
