I first came across the name “Bell” in a list of Irish harpers just over five years ago, but I had no idea who Bell was. I didn’t really work it out until last year, when I found a lot of contemporary records of his life, his music, and the people and places he performed for. This talk will discuss his high-powered career as a traditional Irish harper.
