Event Overview

In these sessions, we will be learning another port from the 17th- century-Scottish Straloch lute manuscript: Port preist. We will focus on harp-arrangement choices, based on the lute setting, and the practical technique considerations around those choices. Through some of the interesting challenges presented to us in this tune, we will look at how fingering technique and strategy can help the performer know exactly where their hands are on the instrument.
